2025 NAFA Meet

Enid, Oklahoma

November 9 - 14, 2025

10/12/2025 Update:

Registration is now closed. You will be able to register in person at the Hampton Inn during the week of the meet - dates and times will be posted soon. Registration is required to participate in meet events (vending, raffle, speakers, access to weathering yard, discounted rate for hotel, etc.). Due to the logistics of this year's meet you will be required to attend one of the scheduled registration sessions to register, we will not be having registration availability during meet activities/events, please plan accordingly.

 --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

The annual NAFA field meet is, for many falconers, the highlight of the falconry year, and with good reason. Falconers from across the United States, Canada and even overseas, will gather in Enid, Oklahoma from November 9-4 to celebrate our shared heritage and passion. It is an unforgettable opportunity to meet a broad range of falconers, and to learn from some of the best about different techniques, new equipment, and quarry you have not tried before. It is also great time to meet old friends and forge new friendships that will last a lifetime.

The field meet team, led by Phil Silvati, has been very busy. In addition to some excellent hawking, there will be a full program of speakers and workshops. There will also be a great variety of vendors selling art and equipment of every kind, and of course, the nightly raffle. The land acquisition team has been heard at work getting permission for us to hunt.

If you have never been to a NAFA meet, you owe it to yourself to attend. To make it even easier to attend, the September raffle prize is a meet package which includes free meet registration, hotel room, banquet tickets, extra T-shirt and $100 in raffle tickets. The total value of this package is over $1000! After registering why not purchase a few tickets on our raffle page.

Additional information will be provided in the August Hawk Chalk and be sure to check the NAFA Meet Facebook  page for last-minute updates!

Lodging:

We have three meet hotels this year and a couple of overflow locations, but be sure to book early, as rooms are still limited. The Hampton Inn & Suites has a nightly rate of $109, all the other hotels have a nightly rate of $105, which includes breakfast, and a waived pet fee (except The Glo). Because Enid does not have a combined hotel and conference center that meets our needs, the vendor hall and conference center are in a separate building a few miles away from the hotels. Please book your room by September 1, 2025, after this date rooms will be available for the general public.

Reserve your room by calling the number of your preferred hotel. Please mention North American Falconers Association to receive the discounted rate. If you are not registered for the meet you will not be eligible for the discounted rate - this will be verified upon check out.

Vending:

One of the many highlights of the NAFA meet are members gathering in the nightly vendor’s room. This is a great opportunity for you to show off your products, meet other attendees and hopefully sell some items.  The vendor list is still growing and more space is available.  If you interested in being a vendor at the largest falconry event in North America, please contact Kenley Money (Kenley.money@n-a-f-a.com or 501-765-2342) or Samantha Grayson (Scghawking@ gmail.com or 405-820-7788) to reserve your table.

Raffle:

The nightly raffle in the vendor room is an important part of the meet that raises money to help cover the cost of the meet and supporting NAFA.  We are always looking for donations, and if you are interested in contributing to the NAFA raffle, please contact our raffle coordinators, Chris and Jessica Kimble (chriskimble81@gmail.com, or 580-816-0308).

Weathering Yard:

Brandon Borquist will again handle this very important responsibility. Brandon and his team are ultimately responsible for the safety of all our birds while in the yard. If you have any questions Brandon can be reached at redtailboy91@yahoo.com or 307-337-7394. Please remember, the Yard Warden has final authority on everything as it relates to the weathering yard.

Hunting

Hunting licenses may be purchased ahead of time online or when you arrive in Oklahoma from any sporting goods or outdoors store.  For online purchases go to the Go Outdoors Oklahoma website at gooutdoorsoklahoma.com.  If you choose not to print your licenses, you can download the free app goutdoorsoklahoma on your cell phone to be able to see/show your current licensing information.  Hard copies of hunting licenses are not provided. For a list of phone numbers or local sales locations go to: Locate A Oklahoma Hunt & Fish Licensing Agent | Go Outdoors Oklahoma

With the recent changes to Oklahoma hunting licenses, there are three hunting license options, depending on the quarry pursued, length of your stay and age.

1.         Non-resident Adult (18 and older) 5-Day Hunting License:  $75.00

Oklahoma’s five-day nonresident hunting license allows you to hunt small game other than quail, deer or turkey. When you purchase your five-day hunting license, you will choose the start date of the license. For example, if you want the license to begin on the first Monday of the NAFA meet, you would put a start date of 11/10/2025.  The license would be good for following five days and would expire on Friday 11/14/2025 at the end of legal hunting hours.

2.         Non-resident Super Youth (17 or younger) 5-day Hunting License: $76.00

This five-day youth license allows the holder to hunt rabbit, squirrel, quail, pheasant and waterfowl.  When you purchase this license, you will choose the start date of the license. See, example above.

3.         Non-residents Annual Hunting License: $209.00

This license allows the holder to hunt rabbit, squirrel, quail, pheasant and waterfowl.  The license is good for one year from the date of purchase.

Waterfowl Stamps

1. Oklahoma Waterfowl license (state waterfowl stamp):  $21.00.

Required for all non-resident waterfowl hunters and every resident waterfowl hunter 18 or older. The state waterfowl stamp may be obtained by contacting the Oklahoma Department of Wildlife or any sporting goods or outdoors store. (This may also be purchased through the GoOutdoors app).

2. Federal Duck Stamp: $29.00

Required for all waterfowl hunters 16 years of age or older; available at U.S. Post Offices, other hunting license outlets or www.duckstamp.com.  The stamp must be signed on its face by the person using it. (This may also be purchased through the GoOutdoors app.)

Trapping

Oklahoma allows properly licensed non-resident falconers to trap listed legal raptors.  You will need a non-resident hunting license and an Oklahoma non-resident falconry license.

Cost of the Non-resident 10-day Falconry License is $25.00.  A non-resident falconry license may be obtained by contacting Jerrod Davis, Oklahoma Department of Wildlife at 405-521-2739 or 405-590-2583 or at jerrod.davis@odwc.ok.gov.   Processing time for non-resident falconry licenses is a minimum of 30 days. Since this license is only needed for trapping, make sure that you choose a start date that will cover the days you will be trapping.
