Presented by the North American Falconers Association & the North Carolina Falconers Guild in partnership with the NC Wildlife Resources Commission

  • A $50 fee per person is required with your registration.

  • The Minimum age to attend is 12 years old where 12-17 years old must be accompanied by their parent or an adult guardian 18 years or older. They are also required to pay the $50 registration fee. 
  • Workshop materials will be provided.
  • A deluxe deli LUNCH & DRINKS are included.

 

Falconry is hunting by means of a partnership with a trained raptor. Its practice is enforced with strict State and Federal requirements in place for ownership of a raptor and hunting with it.

Participants at the workshop will learn about the history of falconry; raptor identification; anatomy and care of raptors as falconry birds, falconry bird training; hunting equipment and much more.

Falconers and their hawks will be on hand for up close and personal handling and photo opportunities!
